MiDAS STANDARD OR MiDAS ACCESSIBLE TRAINING - Theory sessions are now conducted on-line, bookings cost £40 per person payable in advance, you will then be sent login details to carry out the theory section which takes between 90 to 100 minutes. The theory section does not need to be taken all in one go, it is designed so that you can do this section in several parts, freeing your staff up to cover classroom duties as and when required, or even at home.


Once your staff have successfully past this you will then have to contact Nick to book the rest of the Standard Course or the Accessible theory, the Accessible Practical and finally the on road training and assessment.

 

Alternatively you may choose the newly designed face to face one day cousere.

This Face to Face formal training course is similar to MiDAS in design and format, has a four year certificate and covers topics such as Advanced Driving Techniques, Blue Light Avoidance and the Highway Code.  A tag on section for accessible drivers is also available.


B Category (car) Drivers - BESPOKE, FORMAL & CERTIFIED 60 TO 90 MINUTE SESSIONS

THIS IS A FORMAL MINIBUS DRIVER TRAINING AND ASSESSMENT COURSE, IT COVERS YOUR ESTABLISHMENTS LEGAL REQUIREMENTS SUCH AS VEHICLE CHECKS BEFORE USE AND COMPLETION OF VEHICLE CHECK SHEET BEFORE DRIVING ON THE ROAD, HIGHWAY CODE UPDATES, DEFENSIVE, ECHO AND ADVANCED OBSERVATION TRAINING AS WELL AS ESSENTIAL PASSENGER COMFORT TECHNIQUES -

This will meet your schools Duty of Care needs and is certified for 4 years.

 

Dates available for MiDAS or the formal Face to Face training any other types of courses offered.

April & May - No dates available, sorry.

June 10th to 14th. Limited midday training from 17th to 26th.

July 10th to 12th, 16th to 18th, 23rd, 24th, 30th, 31st.

Aug 6th to 8th, 13th. 

Aug 15th to Oct 2nd 2024 - there will be no availability for booking training

Oct 8th to 10th, 15th to 17th, 22nd to 24th, 29th to 31st.

  Welcome To Minibus Driver Assessment Ltd

M.D.A. are able to deliver a full range of driver related training, including the Community Transport Association’s (C.T.A) MiDAS scheme, 
RoSPA approved level modules and driver assessments.

M.D.A. provides expert tuition to all types of driving and non-driving (a passenger assistant) staff by ensuring they get the most up-to-date information and driving techniques possible. This training is delivered at a suitable pace, that won't overwhelm staff who might be  fearful of the classroom environment.
Travel and overnight costs will also be applied if outside of Leicestershire

Courses We Can Provide

Below are brief descriptions and details of some the courses we provide as a company: 


Bespoke MiDAS style training courses can be developed to target your driving and non-driving staff’s needs, these range from a 60 minute formal assessment to a 120 minute driver training session that includes vehicle inspection before use, minibus law, advanced driving techniques and includes a 20 to 30 minute assessment at the end.  On successful completion of any driving assessment a certificate will be issued that last's for four years.
